JIBIT ASHA INTERNATIONAL

Who Are We?

JIBIT ASHA INTERNATIONAL is an organization of like-minded individuals who share the vision of advancing the Kingdom of God through proclaiming the Good News, Biblical teaching and church planting. We believe Christian faith provides the living hope when ultimately God will reign over all things and restore all creation to Himself. Until this happens; God, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has commanded the church to preach the Gospel and make disciples. Therefore the purpose of JIBIT ASHA, which means LIVING HOPE, is to share the Gospel, make disciples, and plant churches where currently there are not churches.

JAI is a response to God’s call to see lives changed through the power of the Gospel of Christ. Reformed doctrinal standards guide our ministry practice as we partner with mission-minded churches who hold to the core beliefs of the universal (catholic) church.

Values about Church Planting:

  • We believe in the multiplication of disciples, leaders & churches – and that Jesus empowered His disciples to reach out to others. These disciples, multiplied themselves by reaching out into unreached areas. We believe that such church multiplication takes place when disciples and leaders are trained and equipped to plant churches.
  • Through God’s leading and the efforts of local leaders, local people & local sustainable resources –the church of Christ becomes healthy when it is planted and led by the local leaders among local people who provide local sustainability.
  • Presenting the Gospel in the heart language of the local people usually bears fruit and results in a desire from the people for a church to be planted nearby. Since church planters speak the local language they earn a right to be heard and are considered credible.
  • All locally organized activities focus on personal salvation, church planting and multiplication. We value that people needs to know Christ and come to the personal relationship with him. This is of utmost importance. Therefore, all the outreach and social endeavors lead toward church planting and multiplication.
  • To advance the Kingdom of God among different people groups is the ultimate desire. Glorifying God by expanding the kingdom of God here on earth is what we pray for and strive to do. All our effort in church planting is to expand the kingdom of God. We pray, “Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
